Pedagogical workshop "suitcases of the past"
This workshop, led by us but also requiring the presence of one or ideally two teachers or chaperones, is combined with a guided or self-guided tour of the museum: the group is split in two, with one half going on the tour while the other takes the workshop, and then the roles are reversed.
Two suitcases have been found in an attic in Sainte-Mère-Eglise: that of Albert, a little boy during the war, and Ryan, a parachute soldier who landed in Sainte-Mère-Eglise on the night of June 5-6, 1944. Found over 70 years later, these suitcases have never been opened. In groups, students are invited to discover and share the lives of our two protagonists, through the objects carefully stored in these suitcases.
RATES
- Self-guided tour + workshop: €8.50/child
- Guided tour + workshop: €11.50/child
Suitable for children from 9 to 15 years old.

From D-Day to the Holocaust, via the Pacific War, the Eastern Front, and lesser-known events, it's the ideal way to consolidate what they've learned and have fun at the same time!
